Test results

Blood tests requested by one of our clinicians are usually done by a phlebotomist at Deeside Community Hospital.

To book an appointment with a phlebotomist for your blood tests, please phone 03000 850047 English line, between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Alternatively, please email BCU.BloodTests@wales.nhs.uk to book an appointment.

Please note, if you have a time specific blood test request e.g. high risks drugs monitoring bloods or INR and you are unable to get phlebotomy appointment in the specified time, please let us know.

Getting your test results

It is the responsibility of the patient to contact the surgery for their results following any form of investigation i.e blood tests or x-ray results.

All your results we requested are reviewed by a clinician and we may contact you if necessary.

If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
