Home Visits

Home visit are reserved for patients who are too ill to attend surgery, however if you have symptoms that suggest a heart attack, stroke, severe shortage of breath or bleeding dial 999 for emergency ambulance.

We follow the NHS Wales guidelines which suggest that a GP visit is recommended to terminally ill and bed-bound patients.

When considering a request for home visit, please, remember that several people can be seen at the surgery in the time that it takes to make a home visit.

Please telephone the surgery on 01244 813340  before 10:30 if you think that you may require a home visit.

Be ready to give the receptionist your name, address, telephone number, age and brief outline of the problem. They may ask the doctor to confirm that it is necessary to see you at home.
